Ho Ho Ho

Christmas has come and gone.
Ours was full of family, food and presents.
On Christmas Eve we did what we've been doing for years- 7:30 mass then a party at Kyle's Dad's house.
This was my first time ever not spending Christmas Eve with my family.
It mad me a little sad, but it's nice starting new traditions with my own children.
On Christmas morning we opened gifts from Santa, then opend gifts at my parent's, and then opened even more gifts at Grandpa Finnegan's.
Looooooots of presents.
Which got Kyle and I talking about how next year we aren't doing presents...but more on that later.
All in all it was a lovely weekend.
And I hope all of yours were as well!
Now for some pictures.
Ezra slept the entire time on Chrsitmas Eve, hence he's not in any pictures.
He looked suuuuuuper cute too.  Oh well.

San Antonio Wedding

This weekend Kyle and I traveled to San Antonio, Texas for the wedding of our friends Kirsten and Michael.  Kirsten was my college roommate and Michael was Kyle's college roommate.  And WE were the ones to set them up!! Wooo for matchmaking! We had Friday afternoon and most of the day on Saturday to hangout and explore the city and then the wedding took place on Saturday evening.  Everything was beautiful and we were so happy to be there for Kirsten and Michael on their special day.  Plus I got to see my other two besties from high school and we had ourselves a mini reunion.  We were kid-less because our lovely mothers and sisters watched our children for us back home in Georgia so we really had a blast the entire weekend.
Right after we landed in Texas, in a taxi.
Our balcony view of the River Walk from our hotel room.
Being creepers before we left to meet up with everyone.
The girls, minus the bride.
Love them so much!
Ashley and I making fools of ourselves singing karaoke.
The welcome bag from Kirsten and Michael.  Such a nice touch!
We walked through The Alamo on Saturday afternoon.
Loved those trees.
Remembering the Alamo...haha.
Us girls all fancy and dressed up for the wedding!
I was excited about my dress! :)
Waiting for the ceremony to begin.
My handsome Kyle and Jason.
Here comes the bride!!

First kiss.
We got fun lips, mustaches, and glasses to play with!
First dance.
We had more and more fun with these as the night went on... :)
Cutting the cake.
Kyle liked this grooms cake a lot.
Finally one of all the girls!
We're all taken now.
Us with the new married couple.
I just wanted to include this to give an idea of how we felt after this exciting/exhausting weekend.  :D It was so worth it though!!!
Although hard, it really is nice leaving the kids for a while to remember how fun things can be without them.  Kirsten and Michael will both be living in Florida now so we'll be seeing them more often! Yay!

Congratulations Kirsten and Michael!!!!
We love you guys!

Just a scene from my favorite time of day.  Talking and laughing while eating fruit and our favorite Chobani yogurt.

Today at the Library

Today we went to storytime at the Pine Oak Library behind Target.
This library is so new and modern, it's 100x better than our tiny library in Richmond Hill.
We technically can't check out books because we don't live in Chatham County, but we can attend events!
Every Tuesday they have an awesome lady read books and sing songs with the kids.
Tuesdays are especially for ages 0-2 and I love it because we're all in the same boat trying to play and listen with our wiggly-don't-want-to-sit-still toddlers.
And the class is extremely interactive and fast-paced so it makes it so much easier.
Another reason I like it..it's FREE!
We can't make it every week, but when we do both Cambria and Ezra really enjoy it.
Amber is in town this week so she came along.
Cambria just looooooved having her there.
twins for the day, not intentional.  Oh and Cambria's outfit is 100% thrifted, cost about $3!
so happy to have amber there :)
playing with my keys...always
a little bit of dancing after the books
we were gettin' our groove on too
everyone gets a coloring sheet after, one of cambria's favorite parts
reading a book afterwards
the library is amazing, there's a huge TREE!! in the children's section, how cool is that!!
This picture wasn't taken at the library but I think it's so precious so I had to include it.  Kyle and I are leaving for a wedding in Texas (yay Kirsten!!!) on Friday so we've been giving Ezra a bottle to practice..makes me sad. :(
:D for books and libraries and storytime
After the library, Amber and her boyfriend Mateus took Cambria to the mall.
she.had.a.blast. Thanks Ambs!! :)

My apologies

I feel like I've been neglecting my bloggity blog lately and I apologize to everyone (mostly the grandmas).
I promise I'll start updating more about all things me, Kyle, Cam and Ezzy.
I really don't have a real excuse for my lack of posting....
On second thought, the two curious and mess-producing monsters I take care of can be pretty exhausting at times so that's probably why.
Or maybe it's because I do things like take both the kids to Target at 12:30 when neither of them have had lunch yet.
Or maybe because this little girl tries to battle us with her smart little brain everyday by saying things like "No mommy, I can do it, I big girl, I not baby like Ezra."
Or maybe it's because we oftentimes neglect housework and other "important" things to do stuff like attend Christmas parades.
Or watch daddy get dressed in amazement.
Or get our Christmas tree looking pretty.

Either way, I really don't have anything to complain about because life for me is truly good.
But I WILL be updating more often.
And I hope you'll be reading :)

{And in case any of you have been wondering, I HAVE been taking a picture everyday, I'm just waaaay behind on posting/organizing them!}
